PUBLICATION OF THE MAIN AGREEMENT (NEW WATE RATES FOR 1 JULY 2010 TO 30 JUNE 2011)

The Agreement has now been signed by the Minister of Labour and has been published under Government notice R.628 in Government Gazette 33385 dated 23 July 2010.
The Agreement is now binding on all employers and employees in the Industry. The Consolidated Main Agreement has been updated.

NEW INDUSTRY WAGE RATES FOR THE PERIOD 1 JULY 2010 TO 30 JUNE 2011

In accordance with the wage model as per the Industry Settlement Agreement (published per Government Notice R899 in Government Gazette 32555 dated 11 September 2009) industry wage rates will increase by 7.1% to 8.1% with effect from 1 July 2010. Click here for more information.

AMENDMENT OF THE REGISTRATION AND ADMINISTRATION EXPENSES AGREEMENT

The Registration and Adminsitration Expenses Agreement has been amended to reflect the new levies, which was published on Friday 21 May 2010 under Government Notice R.420 in Government Gazette 3319, and will come into operation on Monday 31 May 2010. Click here for the new levies.

EXTENSION OF THE PERIOD OF OPERATION OF THE ARTISAN TRAINING AND RECOGNITION AGREEMENT (ATRAMI)

The Minister of Labour has agreed to extend the period of operation of this Agreement for a further period of five years from 1 May 2010 to 31 May 2015, and the renewal has been published per Government Notice R.418 in Government Gazette 33193 dated 21 May 2010. Click here for the agreement.

EXTENSION OF THE PERIOD OF OPERATION OF THE DISPUTE RESOLUTION AGREEMENT

5 May 2010
The Minister of Labour has agreed to extend the period of operation of the Agreement for a further period of five years from 1 April 2010. The notification was published on 1 April 2010 in Government Gazette 33060 under Government Notice R235.
